Day 1: Siem Reap to Battambang, visit Banteay Chhmar temple
We start our journey from Siem Reap. On the way to Battambang, there are many interesting spots, villages monasteries and especially rice paddy-filed. We say Battambang is a unique Cambodian rice storeroom because there are very high number of farmers plant rice. We drive to Banteay Chhmar Temple, the temple complex, its moat, Baray (water reservoir) and surrounding unspoilt environment comprises a unique archaeological site and a vital link in Cambodia’s cultural heritage.
Day 2: Battambang Tour
Visit the central of Battambang town, French colonial buildings, home to some of Indochina’s best preserved colonial era architecture, Traditional Khmer house is on stilts, rice paper of spring-roll, Khmer rice whiskey, Khmer noodle making. Experience with Bamboo-train ride, local people call Norrie, it was very popular for local transportation in 1980. Sunset at Bat Cave, you can watch spectacular million bats fly out of the cave.
Day 3: Battambang to Phnom Penh
The journey to the capital of Cambodia Phnom Penh, on the way visit Kompong Luong floating villages in the beautiful backdrop of Tonle Sap, floating market and shops, floating school and houses of fish men, stop at Ondong Rossey village in Kampong Chhnang to visit the area’s famous red pottery. The villagers make pottery under stilted house to earn their living.
Day 4: Phnom Penh Tour
Phnom Penh’s important sights, landmarks and attractions. Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, Central Market, Russian market. Take river cruise along the riverfront to take fresh-air and watch sunset. Day 5: Phnom Penh Tour Visit National Museum, Wat Phnom, Toul Sleng genocide museum, calls S-21 prison compound now serves as a museum, a memorial, and Choeung Ek Memorial calls, Giant Killing Field which is a biggest killing field in Cambodia. In the evening transfer you to Phnom Penh International Airport for your departure flight.
